Prisoner Re-Entry Partnership (Project PREP) is a Department of Labor funded initiative to strengthen and support communities with returning large numbers of previously incarcerated individuals. Pima County has been selected as a project site, and through a collaborative effort of existing community-based agencies developed the PREP Project. Project PREP blends the expertise and resources of The Primavera Foundation, Old Pueblo Community Services, PHASE, Dorothy Kret & Associates and the YWCA. CASS has two facilities. The main facility in downtown Phoenix serves 400 homeless men and women. Vista Colina Emergency Family Shelter, is a 30 unit apartment complex in Sunnyslope that houses homeless families with children. Both operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
